This DC War Memorial wedding is simply gorgeous. Tkeyah and Soloman had planned a unique urban jungle themed wedding with their wedding planner and then the pandemic happened and their plans slightly changed. They downsized their guest count and enjoyed a gorgeous ceremony at the DC War Memorial.
Tkeyah's bridal look was stunning with a dropped neckline and sparkle embellishment throughout the dress. She opted for a dusty blue and ivory lace bridal garter for her wedding heirloom. Unique veils hung from each strap for a cape-like veil for her dress!
This real wedding garter post is a micro wedding in a stunning outdoor venue. The DC War Memorial's round shape was creatively used in the wedding design. The couple exchanged vows in the center of the open air memorial with guests seated in a circle surrounding them. The white and green floral arrangements also accentuated the memorial's round design beautifully.
We also loved Tkeyah and Soloman's unique photo guest book idea available for guests to complete as they entered the memorial. And the post ceremony celebration continued with Carnival performers joining them for a walking parade to celebrate the newlyweds!
Who doesn't love beautiful wedding photos at the Washington DC monuments and memorials? These wedding photos will be cherished for years!
