Boutonnieres for the Groom

Today's Garter Girl Loves is a special one... it is all about the groom and his guys. I've spent a lot of time recently sharing all of my advice on all things bridal prep ahead of a wedding. From planning a bridal shower to picking out the perfect rehearsal dinner outfit, I've given some serious love to brides and felt like it was about time I did for grooms too! 

A boutonniere is one of the few outfit accessories a groom gets on the wedding day. Depending on the formality and style of his wedding day look, a boutonniere can be a perfect finishing touch to the style and look of his day. It can also pull in other areas of the wedding day look and feel - from the other floral components of the wedding day to theme and color-scheme. 

I love how today you can really make a statement with the groom's boutonniere and let his personality shine through. Checking out Etsy for all things boutonniere made me realize how many great options there are out there!

I have a feeling we may just have some mighty fine and stylish grooms at some upcoming weddings after this post! Whether simple and floral or eco-friendly and timeless, don't feel pressured to follow the traditional boutonniere rules and guidelines and just go for it! Any groom will feel special and stylish the day of his wedding in whatever is picked.
