Summer is coming to a close and I'm not happy about it! I get to spend the summer with my family at the beach and being by the ocean and having lots of time on the sand the highlight of my year. I take this stylish wedding garter show on the road with me to the beach and it takes a full year to plan for it, but as a small business owner, it is worth it! To me, nothing is more beautiful and inspirational than the summer and the beautiful ocean with its soft shades of blue and green.
Earlier this summer, I participating in a wedding inspiration editorial with the beach and the beauty of summer as its theme. Here is the wedding inspiration board as designed by Kate of Ivy & Honor, a boutique styling and event planning company based in the Washington DC area.
How gorgeous is this summer time wedding inspiration board with its nautical undertones, shades of pale blue and green and ocean-inspired hues? Using this board as my style guide, I custom designed a few summer time wedding garters to include in the editorial photo session. I can't wait to see the real images from the session, but in the meantime, here are the chic, summer inspired wedding garters that I designed.
For this summer sea wedding inspiration, I custom designed three wedding garters. In the above photos, the top wedding garter is all ivory with a stripe of lace and an ivory bow tied just in the middle. The middle design is my sweet wedding garter style and the last garter is an ivory satin with a pale turquoise satin stripe and an ivory lace overlay.
