In between the wedding garter making and the baby growing, I somehow managed to enter the Inspired Creations wedding blog contest hosted by Elizabeth Anne Designs and The Sweetest Occasion. From the moment I heard about the contest, I had a very clear vision for bridal lingerie, but twisting it up and making it super stylish. I wanted to throw all preconceived notions of wedding lingerie out the door and show brides that lingerie is chic and something to have fun with!
To pull it off, I gathered a few really talented friends and put together five bridal lingerie looks that can be worn by any bride at her engagement party, wedding shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding day, honeymoon and beyond! Check out all the looks: something blue, white & purple, aqua & gold, black & ivory lace, and ivory & coral romance.
The shoot was possible because of the beautiful lingerie from Coup de Foudre, photography by Studio Juno, help from Punk Rock Bride and styling by my knitting group friend, Shelly. I custom designed five different wedding garters based on the lingerie looks and then I raided another very, very stylish friend's closet for the finishing touches.
Over this next week, I'll feature the five different bridal lingerie looks. First up, is a something blue lingerie look…
To see all of the stylish bridal lingerie looks, check out the Elizabeth Anne Designs blog. Be sure to leave a comment to help my team win!
As an added bonus, the "hers" hanger cover pictured in this shoot was a DIY element that I put together. The directions are on the EAD post here. If you like the custom white, light blue and lace wedding garter in this shoot, it is available on my Etsy page! But, grab it fast, there is only one of this garter!
