For this custom wedding garter I used the bride's Mom's wedding dress - but just pieces of lace. It's a special moment to pass along a wedding dress so sometimes passing along the WHOLE wedding dress isn't quite right. I started with a base of ivory tulle and delicately layered pieces of the lace from her Mom's dress to design this custom garter. Of course, I ended it with a simple bow at the center.
