Garter: Made From Bride's Father's Silk Shirt
Welcome to The Garter Girl's gallery of custom wedding heirlooms!
I loved working with the bride to hand made her a custom wedding garter heirloom made from her Father's silk shirt. The ideal way to create a connection between the bride and her Father for her wedding day, this custom garter features a base of ivory satin and then an added layer of silk from the Father's shirt. I finished this garter with a sweet bow and a button from the Father's shirt.
Here are the photos of the custom wedding garter heirloom made from the bride's Father's silk shirt.
It was an honor working with my bride to hand make a custom wedding garter heirloom for her using her Father's silk shirt.
