I have the most beautiful custom wedding garter to share today hand made with the softest, and more elegant vintage Italian lace you ever did see! I'm getting excited just typing these words, this lace is so dreamy!
A wedding planner friend of mine here in the Washington, DC area, Aimee and A. Griffin Events, was on a trip in Venice and she found some vintage lace while out shopping. She couldn't help herself (Who could blame her!?) and picked up a few yards of this gorgeous Italian lace…for me! I love the lace, and I also love that when someone sees vintage lace they think of me and my stylish wedding garters! I was so excited to get this little lace gift in the mail, what a surprise! There is nothing more that I love than lace and when it is vintage and comes from a friend, well I'm in heaven!
This custom wedding garter design didn't need much designing, because the vintage Italian lace is so gorgeous. To complete the garter, I added a soft light ivory satin background and a delicate ivory satin bow tied ever-so-perfectly just in the center!
