Giving a whole new meeting to walking down the aisle in style, I have a rock and roll wedding inspiration to share with you today. I recently contributed one of my stylish wedding garters to a wedding editorial full of music and edgy design ideas. Set an urban loft space in the heart of DC, this wedding inspiration is perfect for the couple that not only loves music, but loves bold and unique details such as a geometric wedding cake and dark purple geode inspired wedding invitations.
For this wedding inspiration, I sent along my chic wedding garter style because I thought it was one of the more neutral garter designs in my collection. I think this garter style lets the bride's super chic style with her tattoos and gorgeous, fitted lace wedding dress shine through. So, even though wedding garters are my first love, my favorite detail has to be the DIY graffiti backdrop for the wedding ceremony that was turned into the head table at the wedding reception.
Using a old door, a can of spray paint and a music quote about love, this wedding ceremony background is so cool! After the ceremony was over, they flipped the spray paint backdrop over and turned it into a table. If you love this idea, you'll have to head on over to United With Love, a blog for weddings in Washington DC, to find the DIY instructions for how to make a spray paint wedding ceremony backdrop.
Designed and excited by Aimee at A. Griffin Events, a wedding planner in DC, this wedding inspiration is part music, style and a whole lot of love! Here are the photographs from Brooke Michelle Photography that will have you signing classic rock love tunes for the rest of the day while dreaming about these amazing, urban wedding ideas!
