I recently had the honor of custom designing a few stylish wedding garters for a destination wedding inspiration in Hawaii. I didn't get to go to Hawaii, but my wedding garters did. I was a little bit jealous! When the time is right, I'll be sure to share images from this wedding inspiration with soft aquas, delicate blues and the palest of blush pinks. The details and ideas for this inspiration was very light and effortless, just how a beach wedding should be!
For these custom wedding garters for a destination wedding, I went with very light fabrics and delicate details to go with the beach setting for the wedding. Also, I wanted the blue tones to go with the ocean and for the garters to blend in with the bride's wedding accessories and not show through her light weight wedding dress.
In this photo below, I'll list the custom wedding garters from the bottom up. The first garter is a light ivory satin background with an aqua blue grosgrain stripe and an ivory satin bow, the second garter in the middle is an ivory satin background with a blush pink satin stripe and an ivory satin lace stripe that is detailed with an ivory pearl chain, and the top garter is an ivory satin background with a soft ivory polka dot tulle and finished with a light blue satin bow.
