Over the past few weeks, I've been busy uploading new wedding garter styles to my website. I had many grand plans in my mind to do a new, full wedding garter collection for 2011, similar to what I did for last year's collection, but as you can see, it is June already! Time just got away from me and I'm trying to be less obsessive about having to have everything done right this minute. (Read: more sleep and family time! And a new little blog for the DC area brides!) Here is are some sneak peaks of a few new wedding garter styles that I've added. Many more to come!

If last year's collection was modern and stylish with bold colors and clean details, then the 2011 wedding garters are definitely soft and romantic. My new garter styles for 2011 are delicate, even dainty, incorporating lots of lace and pearls. Perhaps I was inspired by my new little muffin or just in a tender mood, but whatever the reason, I'll take it! What I do know is that I had a blast going to New York this year to source materials! My trip was one part material hunting in the fashion district, and two parts a romantic getaway with my husband. It was an amazing trip and I'm still talking about it!
I love so many of the new garter styles that I've been working on. It is this type of creation and designing that I truly love! I'm glad to be able to share my new garters with this season's brides and brides-to-be.
Stay tuned, because this is just a sneak peak! There are more garter styles to come and I have lots of unique garter tricks up my sleeve!
