Happy July 4th! In honor of this most festive (and patriotic!) occasions, I thought it was only fitting to share a few custom wedding garters that I've made recently. (I also make this red, white and blue wedding ideas board over on Pinterest!) I made a quite a few different USA themed wedding garters this spring in advance of all of the beautiful summer weddings, especially for those getting married this weekend on July 4th. Here is a collection of some of my favorite recent custom wedding garters with a July 4th or military theme.
The first garter set is an American flag themed wedding garter with the stars and stripes print in grosgrain on a white satin background with a white satin bow. For this garter set, I personally thing the tossing garner with its American flag grosgrain and perfect white satin bow is just as cute as the main garter, don't you!?
The other custom wedding garters were hand created using the name tapes from the groom's military uniform. Each of these military inspired wedding garters were custom made-to-order based on the bride's personally preferences. So, the military uniform name tape was a little shout out to him, but then adding a little pink, polka dots, sparkle, lace or tulle was definitely for her! Its all about compromise in marriage and wedding garters!
