Today, we are talking about how to plan your wedding on Etsy from start to finish. And, then later, look out, on the blog because we have a special post on how to register for your wedding through Etsy. (Yes, it's possible and it's awesome!)
It won't be long before you realize just how many details go into the planning process, bridal shower, wedding day and more! Your wedding is a once in a lifetime event and you'll cherish these memories for years to come so be sure to enjoy the process. Choose details that make you smile!
Before we get into it, we wanted to give you these five tips for planning your wedding on Etsy.
1. Use The Favorites Button
If you see something you love or a shop that you don't want to forget about, simply use the favorites button. It's a little heart and it will add it to your list of favorites on Etsy. This way, you can save something if you aren't quite ready.
2. Register For An Account
Once you do make a purchase, you'll have an account on Etsy. This will help with shipping and so that you won't have to entire your details each time. It's so much better and faster this way!
3. Start At The Beginning
It can be easy to get overwhelmed and super excited about the wrong things at the wrong times. Be sure to pace yourself and start at the beginning. Don't get the ceremony welcome sign before you even have a wedding planning binder.
4. Custom Is Your Friend
The best part of Etsy is the customization options. If you see something that you love, but it isn't quite right, just ask. Most artists on Etsy love custom designs and would love to work with you to make you something amazing.
5. Etsy Has Everything You Need
Etsy truly has everything you need for your wedding from dresses to gifts for your parent to favors for your guests.
Etsy is a great source for wedding day details both small and large. You may think of Etsy when it comes to personalized gifts for your bridal party but there is so much more to be found! From stationery to wedding signs and even wedding dresses, Etsy is basically a marketplace for thousands of small business owners who put their heart and soul into the products they sell.
