This custom wedding garter is special for two reasons – it was made combining the laces from the bride's mother and her mother-in-law's wedding dresses. The bride sent me the materials and lace from both of the wedding dresses and asked that I incorporate both materials into her custom wedding garter. The dresses were both so unique and delicate. I layered the materials alternating laces from the different dresses to form ruffles and then added a pretty light blue satin bow at the top. This custom wedding garter turned out so beautiful, an heirloom for sure! What makes this extra sweet is that the bride had this bridal garter designed so that she could pass it onto all of the other ladies in their family. It will be their something blue, something old and something borrowed. So special!
