Get out your tissues because we have the most beautiful real wedding heirloom to share with you today from. Today's real wedding garter post features one of our favorite ways to make wedding heirlooms: using materials from loved ones' own weddings. Amy's garter was made with lace detailing from her Mom's wedding dress that made her feel "like a part of her was walking down the aisle with me."
Amy was able to embrace her mom's energy and presence in spirit on her wedding day with her custom garter and matching handkerchief set. How magical is that!? In addition to her wedding garter from the lace in mother's wedding dress, we were also able to use a lace piece from the dress for handkerchief that she wrapped around her bridal bouquet for all those happy tears, of course.
