Be still my dusty blue loving heart! I have real wedding photos from a dusty blue themed wedding to share with you today and I couldn't be more excited. I worked with Emily to hand make heirlooms for her wedding all made from a combination of her mother's and her grandmother's wedding dresses.
It was so special and seeing these pictures from her wedding day, I love how it all comes together. Cue the (happy) tears!
In addition to the dusty blue, their wedding day also featuring the couple's dog. Emily and her new husband created a wedding that spared no detail. I love the unique touches from their invitation suites to the ceremony arch to the reception backdrop and more! This wedding is classic yet updated and looks downright beautiful.
Emily's bridal garter, ring bearer pillow and handkerchief were all made by combining lace pieces from her mother's wedding dress and her grandmother's wedding dress and veil. We added a bit of dusty blue in there to be her "something blue" and to match her overall wedding colors and theme.
Here are the pictures that we took of her custom wedding heirlooms made from her mother's and grandmother's wedding dress. It was amazing to receive all of her family pieces the mail. I feel honored to have been chosen to use pieces from her dress for Emily's wedding heirlooms.
