I'm so excited to share Ashlee's family heirloom garter! This beautiful bride came to me and she had two garters that were her mother's from her wedding day 30 year prior and a lace bralet that she wanted to use on a totally new garter design just for her. And, a totally new design is exactly what we did! We were able to re-design the garters and incorporate the lace from the bralet in a completely unique custom family wedding garter for Ashlee.

I'm so proud of how this custom heirloom turned out! I'm always amazing at how different each piece, but when you use different materials each time, the garter starts to take on a life of it own! For Ashlee's garter we took the lace from each of the garters and the bralet, and then layered the lace pieces together to create ruffles on the garter.
See pictures that I took of Ashlee's family heirloom garter made from her mother's garters. I even have some pictures of her mother's garters before I cut them apart!
Even more exciting, Ashlee shared a few pictures from her outdoor fall wedding in California from Nicole Leever Photography. From the Bordeaux bridesmaid dresses to an amazing floral installation on the tree at the wedding ceremony, this wedding was a rustic, elegant dream come true!
There are even a few pictures of Ashlee and her mother getting ready for the big day!
