We're back sharing yet another one of our real brides here at The Garter Girl! This Charlottesville, Virginia wedding was held at a gorgeous location and featured a sophisticated style from start to end including a something blue accessory that was perfect for the bride. Bride Jordan's custom wedding garter was handmade with material from her Dad's tie. How special is that!?
Here at The Garter Girl I specialize in heirloom wedding garters but we most often use materials from the bride's Mother or Grandmother...so this one is extra special since it's from the bride's Father. Jordan's personalized wedding garter heirloom set was designed using her Dad's striped tie, as the perfect something blue for the bride, and ivory lace. The inside of her garter was also personalized by adding a piece of cotton fabric with Jordan's initial on it!
Jordan and Christian's wedding day included some sophisticated blue used throughout including the groom's suit. The backdrop of the ceremony included a water view and a fountain and the reception was hosted indoors with wood walls, concrete floors made for dancing the night away and chic drapery and lighting.
This wedding was simply sophisticated in style and I can't wait until you see her bridal garter and the gift the groom gave her on the wedding day...
Such a sweet wedding day, right!? And...a dog as a wedding gift? What could be any better!
