I know it feels like it is all wedding garters all the time around here, I am The Garter Girl, after all. But, I'm really excited to share with you a new offering made from your family heirloom materials, custom ring bearer pillows. (I also have one ring pillow that I made from a vintage wedding dress available for purchase below, scroll down for that!)
Whether it's your mom's wedding dress, your grandmother's veil or a handkerchief in your family, I've really loved making custom ring bearer pillows. I'm happy that I can now share this offering for your sweet, little ring bearer. Just imagine the cuteness walking down the aisle with something special handmade from your materials - it's sure to be a keepsake in your family for generations!
Over the years, when brides and their moms send me their materials for me to make them an heirloom wedding garter, I would also offer to make them a ring pillow while I had the material in my hands. It feels like a natural fit for The Garter Girl.
I released the custom heirloom handkerchiefs a few months ago. Now, I'm officially adding ring pillows to the mix. When you send me your mother's wedding dress or your grandmother's veil, it's nice when I can make as much as I can for you with the material while I have it.
Each custom ring bearer is just that, custom. They are always so unique to the material that I'm using. Sometimes the pillow has lace and sometimes I supply the material for the pillow and we'll use your material for the detail on the pillow. Your material is what sets the design for the pillow, which is always the fun part. Just like the wedding garters made from your family materials, the ring pillows are always so special.

This ring pillow above, I handmade from the bride's mother's wedding dress and the bride's grandmother's handkerchief. The back of the pillow was from the dress and the front was made from a vintage handkerchief that the bride's grandmother had for years.
In addition to the custom ring pillows made with your material, I also made ONE ring pillow from a vintage wedding dress that I had. I can't leave you hanging for your wedding without a gorgeous ring pillow if you don't have family materials. So, I made this one for you to buy as is.
This is a one-of-a-kind ring pillow, as there was only enough of this lace to make one pillow. I listed it right here in my shop. This pillow is made already and ready-to-ship just for you. All of my ring pillows feature a satin ribbon in the center so that you can tie your rings onto the pillow for them to walk down the aisle. But, here's a little wedding planning pro tip for you: Don't use your real wedding rings on the pillow. You never know what will have with your little ring bearer, he could drop the pillow or have a meltdown and not make it down the aisle. Instead, get fake rings or even key rings to tie onto the pillow. Then you want the best man or woman or whoever is holding the real rings to have your real wedding bands in their pocket.
