When I first made this family heirloom wedding garter, I knew that it wasn't typical of the custom garters that I usually design, but that just didn't matter because it was so, so beautiful!
I was so proud of how this ivory pearl and lace wedding garter turned out. It is made entirely from the bride's mother's wedding dress. The mother sent me a few pieces of her wedding dress. I basically ripped it all apart and put it back together in the form of a really beautiful, elegant wedding garter that they will be able to pass throughout their family.
