Bridal Headpieces & Hair Accessory Ideas

Vintage Style Bridal Headband

It's easy to focus on your beautiful wedding dress (which if you have any questions about, be sure to get our Ultimate Bridal Fashion Timeline - it's free and will tell you exactly what you need to order when so you don't miss out!) but don't forget to focus also on completing your entire bridal look! And look out below for some tips about your wedding hair - we've got it all for you today!

Your bridal look includes so much more than just your wedding dress and shoes. Don't forget accessories like bridal clutches, wedding garter (of course!), and your hairstyle! To complete your look, try adding some style into your hair with bridal headpieces like hair combs, headbands and hair pins.

Selecting a beautiful wedding hair accessory is key to completing your bridal look.

Wedding Hair Tips

  1. Don't forget to contact your day of hair stylist to let he or she know which accessories you'll want to incorporate into your wedding day hairstyle.
  2. It can be easy to just focus on your wedding dress and forget the dress, but remember that you have lots more to think about than just your dress. (Get our free bridal fashion guide if you are overwhelmed!)
  3. Talk to your hair stylist as soon as possible in case you want to grow your hair out or have it colored a certain way. It takes time for some looks to full come to life!
  4. Try to have your hair accessories, like your veil, all together before your wedding dress fittings so that you can see your whole look all together. It will help to see it all at once.
  5. Bridal hair accessories like combs and pins are sometimes different than veils and sold separately. Even though in pictures, they look like once piece, often it is two separate pieces often from two different designers or artisans. Check out our collection of bridal veils too!
  6. Your bridal shop where you got your wedding dress likely has a collection of hair pieces and accessories that will go with your wedding dress. Be sure to check out their selection!
From vintage and art deco styles to modern and tropical styles, there's a hair accessory for every wedding style.
