Oh do I have something pretty and very special to share today! This custom wedding garter was handmade from the bride's mother's wedding dress. We took the lace off of the bottom of the mother's bridal dress and used it to make a special and meaningful heirloom for the bride-to-be!
The ivory lace with a flower detail on it was so soft and delicate and I know the bride will cherish her garter long after her wedding, maybe even pass it on down in her family. They just don't make lace like this anymore! As a wedding garter designer, it is such an honor to make garters out of family material, especially when it is so luxurious like this lace.
