I loved working with the brides to hand make them personalized wedding garter and handkerchief heirlooms. Their beautiful wedding garters were made with dusty blue satin and ivory lace, detailed with a long blue satin bow. I used lace from their grandmother's wedding dress and added a cluster of pearls from the same heirloom dress to the middle of their bows. I also added grandmother's ivory lace to the corner of an ivory cotton wedding handkerchief.
