Welcome to The Garter Girl's gallery of custom wedding heirlooms!
I loved working with the bride to hand make her a very special set of personalized wedding garter heirlooms, scrunches, and handkerchiefs. Her beautiful wedding garter was made with blue satin as her something blue and ivory lace from the bride's grandmother's wedding dress, detailed with a long ivory satin bow.
On the inside of her heirloom garter, I hand embroidered the bride's wedding date and the couple's initials to add a touch of personalization. I also embroidered blue satin patches on scalloped-edge cotton handkerchiefs for the groom. Additionally, another handkerchief was made with ivory lace from the bride's grandmother's wedding dress. Finally, scrunchies made with ivory satin for the bridesmaids.
