Anchors away! Where are my preppy, ocean loving brides to be!? You will love today's featured bridal garters with a decidedly modern maritime theme. I handmade a few nautical inspired wedding garters for a photo session recently. They all turned out so cute and fun, and I wanted to share here on my blog.
When brides and grooms think "nautical" for their wedding, they definitely think of anchors, boats, rope knots, the color blue and all things preppy. These modern bridal garters certainly were made a few different shades of blue, from light blue to navy blue, and, of course, white. You can't have a nautical inspired wedding without navy blue and white!
In the first picture below, from top to the bottom, the custom bridal garters are: My sweet wedding garter style featured ivory grosgrain and a light blue satin bow: a white satin wedding garter with a navy blue grosgrain stripe and a white satin bow: a bridal garter with white satin background and a light blue patterned stripe.
So modern and chic, I loved making each of these nautical inspired bridal garters!
