Custom Wedding Garter Spotlight: Two Sisters!

I have a unique set of custom wedding garters to share today! I made two wedding garters for a maid of honor who was doing double duty as both of her sisters are getting married on the same day in October. Yes! Two different sisters with the very same wedding day! The sisters are having a joint wedding celebration with two different wedding ceremonies, one ceremony after the other, followed by a combined wedding reception for all of their wedding guests. Isn't that amazing!?

I just love this double wedding celebration! The maid of honor was working overtime with double the work, double the bridal showers to plan, double the bachelorette parties to host and so on. I thought I'd make it easier on her and design both of the brides a custom wedding garter that were similar, but not the same. I used their wedding colors of navy, pink, purple and gold to designed two very special wedding garters. On inside of each of the custom garters, I hand embroidered their wedding date.

The first wedding garter (on the top in the picture above) is an ivory satin background with an overlay of gold lace and a deep plum satin bow tied in the center. The second wedding garter is an ivory satin background with a stripe of gold lace, a stripe of navy blue satin and a pink satin bow tied just in the center.
