'Tis the season for merriment and winter weddings! I sent a few holiday themed wedding garters out the door for a secret project which involved emerald green and deep dark burgundy. Of course, I will share that wedding collaboration when the time is right, but before the holiday season comes and goes, I wanted to share these beautiful and elegant holiday inspired bridal garters that I hand made. With rich colors and beautiful materials, any one of these wedding garters would be perfect for a winter time wedding during the holiday season!
If you are getting married in the winter or around the holiday season, all three of these stylish wedding garters would be perfect! I mean, do you really have to choose!? The garter designs are elegant and refined, perfect for the holiday time with out going over the top.
A friend was recently married in early December and she loved getting married in the winter, but didn't want to have a "Christmas themed" wedding. Because of that, I am sensitive that many winter weddings don't always want everything red and green just because it is the middle of winter. The custom wedding garters that I designed have lace, deep, rich colors and, of course, velvet! You can't think of a winter wedding and not include velvet!
These custom wedding garters were inspired by the holidays, but they aren't over the top with the Christmas theme, making them a perfect garter choice for anyone getting married in the winter season.
In this photograph below, the top wedding garter is a deep burgundy grosgrain with a matching burgundy satin stripe that ties in the back in a beautiful bow. The middle garter is a light ivory satin background with an emerald green velvet strip and finished off with a perfectly tied light ivory satin bow just in the middle. The bottom garter is a cream, vintage inspired lace with a burgundy satin bow tied just lightly in the center in a bow.
So, what do you think of the holiday inspired wedding garters? Fun and festive wedding accessories for the holiday season, but not over the top Christmas, right? Which one is your favorite?
Happy holidays to you and yours!
