I handmade a wedding garter to coordinate with a very dreamy and effortless looking wedding by the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. With every shade of blue from light blue to rich, deep royal blue, watercolor details and lush blue and white flowers, this wedding day style makes you want to cozy up by the water and grab the one you love.
For this bridal editorial, I made my sweet wedding garter style with ivory grosgrain, which is perfect for the nautical bridal style, and a touch of light blue satin. The light blue satin was the perfect heirloom for this bride's lovely and natural wedding day style.
I just love everything about this elegant nautical inspiration and I'm not just saying that because it took place where I got married myself, the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michael's Maryland. Seeing the elegant wedding reception table setting on the lawn overlooking the water is bringing back so many wedding day memories for me!
