Bridal Lingerie Ideas and Inspiration
I was at a local wedding pop-up event a few days ago when a bride came up to me and asked if I could make her lingerie for her wedding day! While I love the idea of making yourself feel beautiful and sexy on your wedding day, my speciality is definitely doing so through making your dream wedding garter.
I do think an amazing accent to your bridal look and, of course, your garter is indeed a beautiful piece (or pieces!) of bridal lingerie. Even if I can't make it for you, I can help you find the perfect lingerie set for your big day! (Talk about the perfect spot for your something blue!)
Whether it is to wear while getting ready for your big day, underneath your wedding dress or after the festivities on your wedding night, finding a piece (or pieces) of bridal lingerie that makes you feel sexy and beautiful is a personal choice. If you don't typically show a lot of skin, don't feel pressured to wear a barely-there lingerie piece, pick something that makes YOU feel the way you want to feel on getting ready, under your bridal dress, and/or on your wedding night. Your partner with think you are beautiful no matter what!
A little wedding tips for you (besides all of the gorgeous lingerie I have listed below!), is to be mindful of your lingerie that you're wearing on wedding morning. Many of the robes, although beautiful, can be really short and sheer, which you might want if you're going to have your picture taken.
In addition to wedding day options for lingerie for the bride, don't forget about bridal portrait and bridal boudoir photo sessions. Hello, gorgeous! (Anytime to feel like "the bride" is worthy in my opinion!)
Remember, just like your wedding dress, if your bridal lingerie will be made for you, the designer will make it fit you just how you are, which makes it completely different than buying it off-the-rack at a store where you have to conform to the size on the tag. The custom or semi-custom option is so much better in my opinion!
