Happy 4th of July!

I hope that you are celebrating America today with lots of fun, family and friends! I'm at the beach with my family and the weather couldn't be better! Plenty of sun, sand and fireworks to go around! The fourth of July is also a popular time to get married with the holiday in the middle of he week this year. I made an American flag inspired custom wedding garter for a wedding that is happening this weekend, so I thought it would be fun to share it today.

This custom bridal garter had the stars and stripes as the background of the garter and it was detailed with a simple white satin bow. This is the bride's tossing wedding garter, as she ordered my graceful wedding garter style with ivory satin and polka dot tulle to be her keepsake garter. But, with her wedding being so close to the fourth of July, she wanted something patriotic and seasonal to be her tossing garter. I love when brides have a modern wedding heirloom that fits their style and then go for something fun for a tossing garter!
