Did you know that I don’t own and edit the Washington DC area’s top wedding blog, United With Love, anymore? Yes, it is true! I’ve passed it onto someone who can grow it in the future and I wish her nothing but the best! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the wedding blog, but in a whole new way, with a new perspective. Maybe this is some form of therapy from being a reformed wedding blogger, but I wanted to make a list of the top wedding blog posts that I’m most proud.
I’ve had some really amazing moments over on United With Love and I wanted to acknowledge all of the hours and love and tears that went into the wedding blog over the years! Each of these wedding blog posts are special to me in some way for reasons that would probably not mean anything to anyone else, so I’ll spare you the long reasons why I chose these posts. I will say that I specifically didn’t choose real wedding blog posts to highlight, that would be like choosing my favorite child! All of the real DMV weddings and couples that we featured over the years were special in their own way. For this, I focused on the DIY projects and the wedding planning tips and advice type of posts because those were the types of articles that I feel really embodied what I was hoping to achieve with the blog – practical wedding planning advice for the local DC area that couples couldn’t find anywhere else.
I wrote over 3,000 blog posts over the last five years (yes!) and here are the ones that I still think about now that it is all over…

Ok, I could have gone on and on! That was hard to cut it off – there were/are still so many favorite wedding blog posts over on United With Love! As a matter of fact, I might just come back here and edit this post and add a more more!
If you are planning a wedding in the Washington DC area, be sure to head on over to United With Love. Even though I’m not running it anymore, the blog is still full of an amazing amount of wedding inspiration and planning help for the local DC area that you just can’t find on any other wedding blog or website.
