I have pretty wedding garter photos today! Ok, I have pretty photos in general, but they just happen to be of this bride's wedding garter and more. For this couple's wedding in the Washington DC area, I worked with their wedding planner, Janice at Bellwether Events, to design a custom wedding garter that perfectly matched the bride's southern style.
Her custom wedding garter is a version of my romantic wedding garter style with ivory lace ruffles. I did the garter's bow in navy blue satin and then hand embroidered their wedding date on the inside in navy blue. This wedding garter coordinated perfectly with her southern flair for the wedding day and it was her "something blue." Love those cowboy boots!

I love how her bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquet look just like gathered wildflowers tied off with long ribbons. The florals go perfectly with the bow on her wedding garter.
