Its Official!

My friends, The Garter Girl is official. My trademark for "The Garter Girl" is registered and approved by the U.S. government. It just came in the mail and I'm so excited!

I've been hand making and designing stylish wedding garters since 2005, but it wasn't until this past fall that I felt the need to protect my business a little more. Looking back on it, I probably should have done it alot sooner. I am married to a lawyer and I really need to take his advice more often! It would have saved me a few headaches in dealing with some business name infringements, but regardless, it is done now!

Now I can go back through all of my materials and add that cool little ® next to The Garter Girl ® logo!
