Perfect for a winter wedding, I made a custom wedding garter recently and I am so excited to share! The bride sent me a picture of her wedding dress by Morilee (pictured below!) that was a beautiful antique shade of ivory with champagne lace overlays and touches of sparkle. As I was looking at her wedding dress picture, my mind immediately went to the champagne hued lace that I use in my glittering wedding garter style. This lace was the perfect combination of color and sparkle for her custom wedding garter to compliment her wedding dress.

For this custom wedding garter, I did an ivory satin background with a layer of the champagne shimmer lace and finished it off with a dark red satin bow tied just in the center.
Thank you so much to this beautiful bride for not only sharing her wedding dress with me, but also letting The Garter Girl be just a small part of something so special! I wish you a lifetime of love and happy memories!
