Real Wedding Garter: Kristy’s Special Fireman Garter

Real Wedding Garter: Kristy’s Special Fireman Garter

This next very personal real wedding garter comes from Kristy and her fireman. Kristy wanted an ivory, tangerine orange and pink wedding garter to match her dress and wedding colors. Turning it into a special wedding keepsake, she had her garter hand embroidered with a special phrase: "We Finish What Others Can't." Kristy's husband, Curtis, is a fireman in Washington, DC and Maryland. The phrase is on the front of the ladder truck that Curtis drives and has special meaning to them.

Check out the beautiful wedding garter photos from James Woo Photography. The second photo is Kristy and Curtis in front of his firetruck from their engagement shoot.

Kristy's wedding garter is an ivory satin background with an orange grosgrain stripe and a hot pink feathered satin bow. It is hand embroidered in hot pink with their initials, wedding date and their special firetruck slogan.
